I appreciate as much as anyone that scenery can be a little dull, but I think these few photos really capture where we stayed. The house is below - directly behind is the coast edge with sheep, walks, cliffs, beaches and an awesome water feature called the Irish Sea. Beyond that is the Snowdonia mountain range. To the right is a gate directly onto the beach, with a 4 mile walk that will take you to Trearddur Bay and beyond with more breath-taking coast line and views.
We have stayed in a lot of brilliant places, but taking all into account it may well pip all the others! The owners are looking to rent it out more so if you would like further details then please get in touch with us via email or twitter @foodandbiscuits.
On our return home, Jo made this spicy vegetable curry and I didn't miss meat one bit!

Wales Part 2 - Rugby, Football & Pies!
After an early run for me, we all settled down to watch Wales v France.....all I can say is BOO FRANCE!!!....Wales were very unlucky and it is a travesty that such a poor team have made the final. I predict a New Zealand walkover on Sunday!
We headed to the Trearddur Bay Hotel at 11.30, hoping that the Mighty Red Men could defeat Man Utd to make up for the disappointment of the earlier match.....in the end Utd were very lucky to scrape a 1-1 drawn but it was great to see Stevie G back in action!
I need to also mention that when we arrived at the hotel, it was full of Wales fans drowning their sorrows and singing rowdy songs. I am a little bit Welsh so I was safe, but they quickly spotted Frenchie as an Englishman and he got his very own song - very amusing!
After the match we all went for a stroll along the bay, which was really nice - photos on tomorrows post. Whist 3 of us watched the box and drank vino, Jo busied herself in the kitchen. She put her home cured salmon on crostini's with horseradish for starters, followed by a chicken and leek pie which was a great success!
