We both had half days on Friday but due to work commitments for Jo, I met her in Thirk for the drive up North. This gave me a chance to seek out a pork pie - I found a beauty from
Johnsons Quality Butchers! I bought a large one that we tucked into on arrival for a pre-dinner snack;

Jo's mum had prepared a lovely dish of pork in a cider and mustard sauce, with a dessert of pear and apple crumble;

It has been a long week for both of us, so we decided that an early night would be a good idea as we had a full day planned on Saturday!
